About the Artist
NINA VOLKOVA WAS BORN IN MOSCOW IN 1959
After graduating with honors from Mathematics School Nina Volkova studied in Moscow Architectural Institute (MArchI). In the student years her graphics was published in "Yunost", "UNESCO Courier", "Sobesednik", "Literaturnaya Rossiya" and other magazines. She participated in the exhibitions of book graphics and made the artwork for music albums and underground rock mags ("UrLight", "KontrKultUr'a")
After graduating from MArchI she worked as an architect and interior designer and continued to make graphics. She is a participant of miscellaneous Russian and international exhibitions, including personal ones, and a member of Russian Artists Union since 2000.
Works of Nina Volkova are in the collection of N.K.Roerich Museum and in private collections in Russia, Belgium, Germany Switzerland etc.
